Paula is a unique, thorough, and resourceful attorney who followed her father’s legacy as an attorney. Paula moved to the Houston area in 2023 from Kansas City, Missouri. Paula is licensed to practice law in three States; Kansas, Missouri, and Texas. Paula has been practicing law for over 30 years. Paula graduated from the University of Missouri at Kansas City when she was 21 years old with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology with departmental honors and as a member of the Omicron Delta Kappa Honor Society. Paula attended the University of Kansas School of Law on full academic scholarship and graduated when she was 23 years old.
After law school, Paula obtained the prestigious position of working as a judicial law clerk. Paula clerked for the Honorable Judge Jon R. Gray, Division 18 of the 16th Circuit Court of Jackson County, Missouri at Kansas City. Paula’s law clerk experience researching legal issues and drafting bench memoranda and proposed orders taught her the importance of drafting uniform, enforceable, and livable orders which she incorporates in her practice. Paula has extensive litigation and courtroom experience handling factually and legally complicated cases. Paula litigated cases as a public defender, a city prosecutor, a city insurance defense attorney, a medical malpractice plaintiff’s attorney, and a family law
attorney. Since 1998, Paula focused her attention on practicing family law.
